Eland Valley Resort, located in the scenic Southern Drakensberg in the Underberg area, is situated at the foot of the majestic Garden Castle. The 150 hectare resort is bordered by the Mzimkhulwana Nature Reserve (KZN Parks Board) and the Mlambonjwa River (tributary of the Umzimkulu River).

The Resort offers 14 modern self-catering log chalets in park like surroundings. Eland Valley is the ideal getaway for the whole family, fishermen and nature lovers.

Eland Valley Resort’s facilities include trout fishing, a playground and recreational centre with games rooms. Horse riding is available nearby, Elands Rest Convenience store is 1km away from the Eland Valley Resort.

There are scenic walks and hikes for both the amateur and serious adventurer. Enjoy the many picnic and tubing spots along the sparkling river. Wildlife (Eland, Reedbok), guinea-fowl, wild duck and other birds in the resort. A golf course, convenience store and restaurants are available nearby.
